Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome negative thoughts. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes.
How Do They Work
Many of us do physical exercises to improve health, affirmations are like exercises for our mind. These positive mental repetitions can reprogram our thinking patterns so that, over time, we begin to think – and act – differently.
Where Do I Start
To get the most benefit from affirmations, you’ll want to start a regular practice and make it a habit. Choose your affirmations, repeat them 10 times twice a day, be consistent and be patient and kind to yourself, change takes time.
